Foundation for Geneva Public Library
2016-2017 Annual Appeal Campaign
Through past annual appeals, the Foundation for Geneva Public Library (FGPL) has supported specific needs of the Library such as the renovation of the Children’s Floor and the replacement of the Library’s heating and air conditioning system. In order to better serve their mission, FGPL has shifted their annual appeal towards support for the building of an endowment for the Library. Read the 2016-2017 FGPL Annual Appeal Letter to learn how your gift to FGPL today is a gift for the Library's future.
The Foundation for Geneva Public Library was established in July 2011 solely to help provide a firm financial basis for Geneva Public Library. The Foundation will seek and accept donations in many forms: cash, securities, bequests, and, subject to board approval, antiques, charitable remainder trusts, fine art, and real property. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) incorporated organization and all contributions are fully tax deductible.

Book Sales & Balcony Bookstore
The Foundation for the Geneva Public Library supports two annual book sales and runs the Balcony Bookstore. One sale is held in the fall, and the other in spring, and the bookstore is open all year! The Spring Book Sale was held in April 2017, and we would like to thank everyone who donated and came out to buy books!

Special Gifts to FGPL
The Foundation for Geneva Public Library proudly welcomes gifts in memoriam of a departed loved one, or in honor of a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or retirement, in the life of a person who is important to the giver. Such donations help meet the Foundation's goal to provide the Library the financial assurance to continue to offer the quality of service to which the Geneva area community is accustomed.

The 1910 Society
Honoring the date of the Geneva Public Library’s move to the historic Universalist Church at the corner of Castle and Main Streets that it still occupies today, the Foundation has established a special donor group called The 1910 Society. You can join The 1910 Society by making a bequest to the Foundation for the Geneva Public Library as part of your estate planning.
