Foundation for Geneva Public Library
The Foundation for Geneva Public Library was established in July 2011 solely to help provide a firm financial basis for Geneva Public Library. The Foundation will seek and accept donations in many forms: cash, securities, bequests, and, subject to board approval, antiques, charitable remainder trusts, fine art, and real property. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) incorporated organization and all contributions are fully tax deductible.
Book Sales & Balcony Bookstore
The FGPL supports two annual book sales and runs the Balcony Bookstore. One sale is held in the fall, and the other in spring, and the bookstore is open all year! The Fall Book Sale starts October 2, 2017! We accept books in good condition for our sales all year, just bring them in to one of the circulation desks.
The FGPL also sponsors our monthly series of presentations by local artists, known as Musical Moments. Recitals are held one Friday evening a month, spanning from Autumn to Spring. The library is grateful to Tom McClure, who works hard to organize these events each year.
A Taste of Jazz
The FGPL sponsors our annual wine, chocolate, and music event known as the Taste of Jazz.
2016-2017 Annual Appeal Campaign
Through past annual appeals, the Foundation for Geneva Public Library (FGPL) has supported specific needs of the Library such as the renovation of the Children’s Floor and the replacement of the Library’s heating and air conditioning system. In order to better serve their mission, FGPL has shifted their annual appeal towards support for the building of an endowment for the Library. Read the 2016-2017 FGPL Annual Appeal Letter to learn how your gift to FGPL today is a gift for the Library's future.

The 1910 Society
Honoring the date of Geneva Library’s move into the disbanded Universalist Church at the corner of Castle and Main Street, the building which we still occupy today, the Foundation has established a special donor group called The 1910 Society.
You can join The 1910 Society by making a bequest to the Foundation for the Geneva Public Library a part of your estate planning or by setting up any other type of deferred gift such as an annuity or trust to benefit the Library. Please contact your financial advisor and our Library Director, Chris Finger at firstname.lastname@example.org or 315-789-5303 ext 106, to set up this gift
