Headphone Use Starting March 1st

Starting March 1st, patrons will either have to bring headphones from home or pay $2.00 to purchase headphones at the reference desk. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Food and Drink in the Library

As of February 3, 2012, we have a new regulations regarding food and drink in the library. No food will be allowed in the library except in the staff break room, staff offices, or in select library areas during library programs. No food or drink is allowed close to the public computers at all.

Musical Moments with AlliKat Trio

The next Musical Moments recital will take place on Friday, February 10, starting at 7:15 p.m. in the library’s Reading Room.   It will feature the Allikat trio, including two flutes and a clarinet, performing classical and popular selections plus Irish Fiddle tunes played on solo violin.

Mindfulness: Writing Haiku, Being Wellness

The first of three courses in the series is Mindfulness: Writing Haiku, Being Wellness, the course will take place Saturday, February 25th 2012 from 12-2pm.

League of Women Voters Presents...

The Geneva Library and the LVW of Geneva are co-sponsoring a book discussion on Hidden Power by Kati Marton. The book describes the marriages of twelve modern-day presidents. Rather than a study of husbands and wives, this book focuses on the intersection of power, love, and marriage, and how the inner life and public face of the White House marriages shaped presidential history.
