APRIL 18: Books Sandwiched Features Phil Beckley
Geneva Public Library’s “Books Sandwiched In” program continues on Friday, April 18, with Phil Beckley’s review of the John Grisham novel "Playing for Pizza".
April 1: Autism Awareness Walk
Step Up for Autism on Friday, April 1, 2011 during the Autism Awareness Walk! From 2:45 until 4:15 p.m. at the Geneva Community Center, students, parents, teachers and community members will raise awareness for autism by walking a loop from the Community Center to North Street School and back. There will also be a special performance by the Step-Up step team!

Jan 25: Library Hosts Author Reception - Three Cups of Tea
The Geneva Public Library will host a reception for David Oliver Relin, co-author of Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace One School at a Time and featured speaker at the 2010 Hobart & William Smith Colleges President’s Forum.
March 1: Coffee & Conversation Series Begins
Join us for a series community conversations about autism spectrum disorders inspired by the 2011 Community Read selection, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon.
March 31: Normal People Scare Me
As part of the 2011 Community Read of Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Geneva Reads will sponsor an Autism Film Series at the Smith Opera House in March. On Thursday, March 31st the Smith will screen Normal People Scare Me (2006), directed by Keri Bowers and Taylor Cross. Based on the 10 minute award winning short film of the same title, Normal People Scare Me is a feature-length documentary sharing first-person accounts of life and living with autism.
March 3: Autism Film Series Begins
As part of the 2011 Community Read of Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Geneva Reads will sponsor an Autism Film Series at the Smith Opera House in March.
May 13 - Explore the ghostly legends of the Belhurst Castle
7:00pm in the Reading Room
Join local author David Sakmyster as he tells us of his experience with the supernatural at Geneva landmark, the Belhurst Castle.
May 2 Library Joins Community in Geneva Reads Book Fest
The library joins Geneva Community Projects and others in this year’s community celebration of children’s books and the joy of reading at the 2009 Geneva Reads Book Fest on Saturday May 2.
