Library Receives Geneva Rotary Club Grant to Expand Hotspot Service
The Library is honored to be a recipient of a grant from the Geneva Rotary Club for $945 in support of our Hotspot Kit lending program. The Library plans to use the grant funds to update damaged kits and to expand the kit options to include an option for borrowing just a hotspot. The new options will help to ensure that patrons in need of laptops and the internet can get both items faster while also ensuring that patrons in need of just a hotspot can borrow one without concerns over losing or damaging a laptop.
This is the fourth straight year that the Library has received a Special Program Grant from the Rotary. Previous gifts provided support for the Library’s new ground floor play equipment and the installation of an AED within the library.
