New Year, New Programs
Every year I tell myself that I will try this, or be better at that. This year is no different, but this year I am bringing you with me. I have had several ideas in regard to programming that I have wanted to try for some time and would love to hear your input. Here are some of the programs I have been thinking about:
- Cookbook Club - This club would meet monthly and be the ultimate potluck. Each member would prepare a dish out of a cookbook that was chosen ahead of time. We would pick a date to meet and try all of the dishes that were made. The library would provide plates and silverware.
- Expanded craft programs - You may have attended one of my Book Craft sessions, but how about something different? Do you have a talent for something that you would be willing to share with a group? What kind of crafting are you interested in?
- Senior Meet-up - This program is specifically for those who are 55 or older. The library will provide the coffee and the space, and all you have to do is come and meet some new people and chat.
- Family Programs - How about a family game night or a reading night? This program is designed for adults and children to attend together. No kids? No problem. Come attend anyway and have some fun.
